BiographyBorn Humboldt, Kansas, August 24, 1903, William Cunningham was a designer, printmaker, teacher, landscape and watercolor painter. He studied at the University of Kansas, Lawrence and studied with Arthur Guptill and Watson; Joseph M. Kellogg; Raymond Eastwood; and Rosemary Ketcham.
He lived in Effingham in 1933. His artwork was displayed when the renovated Lawrence Public Library reopened Nov. 1937.
