Gleb W. DerujinkskijAmerican, 1888 - 1975

Russian/American sculptor Gleb Derujinsky was active in Los Angeles in the 1930s and 1940s. Derujinsky left Russia in the wake of the Revolution after defending the life of members of the Imperial family, and he arrived in New York in 1919. By 1920 he had his first one-man show at Milch Galleries. During the 1930s and 1940s Derujinsky lived in California and had a one man show at the Adobe Studios of Dewey.
