Grace Young

Ms. Young was employed as a decorator at Rookwood Pottery in Cincinnati, Ohio from 1886-1891. She is well known for her very popular portrait paintings of Native Americans on Rookwood vases. (Source: Virginia Raymond Cummins, Rookwood Pottery Potpourri (Cincinnati Art Galleries, 1991), p. 52)
