Flora C. Mace

Flora Mace was born in 1949 in Exeter, New Hampshire. She received her MFA at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and studied at the Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle. Since the early 1980s, she has collaborated with artist Joey Kirkpatrick in Seattle. Mace and Kirkpatrick create blown glass and wood sculpture that responds to or re-presents the natural world.
