Christopher Burnett

BiographyChristopher Burnett completed a BFA in Photography at the Rhode Island School of Design in 1973, and he is represented in the The Seventh Annual Portfolio of the Photographic Education Society, Rhode Island School of Design, which comprises photographs by the program's participants in 1973. Burnett went on to complete an MA and an MFA at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. In his practice Burnett uses photography, digital media, and generative literature to engage with the ways we use language in the environment. He is a professor at the Center for the Visual Arts at the University of Toledo.
