BiographySince 1973, Katherine Kadish's work has been seen in hundreds of solo and group exhibitions throughout the U.S. and abroad. Museums Include: The Whitney Museum/Downtown, NYC; The National Museum of American Art, Washington, DC; The Library of Congress; The New York State Museum; The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts; & the Dayton Art Institute. Galleries include: Agama Gallery & Anita Shapolsky Gallery, NYC; Fassbender Gallery, Walsh Gallery, & Gwenda Jay/Addington Gallery, Chicago; and the Leigh Gallery & Oxford Gallery, England. Her work is included in many public and corporate collections, including the British Museum, the New York Public Library, the Victoria & Albert Museum, Pfizer, Inc., GTE Corp. & many private collections.
She has received grants from the New York State Council on the Arts, the Ohio Arts Council, Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation, etc., and residency rellowships from Yaddo, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Ragdale Foundation, and the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Ireland.
