Petah Coyne

Born into a military family in Oklahoma City, Coyne moved frequently as a child until the family settled in the Dayton area. Coyne attended Oakwood High School, University of Dayton, Kent State and the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Following graduation in 1977, she moved to New York. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including a Guggenheim Fellowship and National Endowment for the Arts Awards, and has had several solo and group exhibitions.
