BiographyStephen Petegorsky has been a freelance photographer in Northampton, MA since 1975. Stephen attended Brandeis University in MA from 1971-1973, then finished his degree at Amherst College in 1975 with a B.A. in Fine Arts. In 1980, he earned his M.F.A in photography from R.I.S.D. He taught at Smith College as an assistant professor in the Department of Art from 1984-1989. Stephen made his way back to Amherst in the late 90s and in 2003 as a visiting artist and lecturer.
