Jimi Jones is a Cincinnati artist and graphic designer. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, he retired after a 27-year career as an art director in charge of display design at Procter & Gamble.
He is a founding member of the Neo-Ancestralist art movement with exhibitions at the National Afro-American Museum & Cultural Center in Wilberforce, Ohio; the University of Cincinnati 840 Gallery; Thomas More College; Northern Kentucky University; the Arts Consortium of Cincinnati; the Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center, Covington, KY; the Harcum Art Gallery at Wilmington College; the Appleton Gallery, Shawnee State University, Portsmouth, Ohio; numerous shows at the Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, Ohio; DSPS High St. Art Gallery, Dayton, Ohio, Dayton Visual Arts Center, Dayton, Ohio, Suzanna Tarell Art Gallery, Cincinnati, Ohio; Closson's Art Gallery, Ohio; and Shot Tower Gallery Columbus, Ohio.
