William Charles McNulty

BiographyWilliam Charles McNulty was born in Ogden, UT on March 28, 1884. He studied at the Art Students League in 1908 and 1909. He was an instructor at the Art Students League of New York and was an instructor emeritus. Some of the outstanding names in the art world are former McNulty students.

He is represented in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of the City of New York, the Newark Museum, the Detroit Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the New York Public Library, the Addison Gallery of American Art, the Canajoharie Library and Art Museum; New York Historical Society, the Library of Congress. Awarded the Judge Abraham E. Pinanski Memorial Prize for the best work in any medium by any member. First exhibition, Rockport Art Association,1953. Honorary member of the Art Students League.
