Biography"The Ohio-born artist, who left a business career to concentrate on making and teaching art, had close ties with art institutions in southwest Ohio and was Professor Emertus at Wittenberg University, Springfield at the time of his death in 1975. He studied at the Dayton Art Institute in the mid-1920s, after intermittent work in Chicago was a student and teacher from 1935 to 1940 in the Department of Fine Arts, Ohio State University, in Columbus."
