BiographyBorn 1699, in Florence; died c. 1766.Painter, fresco artist, draughtsman. Allegorical subjects, portraits, still-lifes.
Meucci was the pupil of Fortini and S. Galeotti in Piacenza, and of Giuseppe del Sole in Bologna. In Florence, he produced frescoes for the cupola of the church of S Lorenzo and History of Achilles for the ceiling of the Galleria Gerini.
