BiographyBorn in Stockholm, Berg moved to New York in 1940, where she worked in fashion and window displays. She had her first solo exhibition in 1970, after which she focused on her own art, making paintings and collages that explore geometric and minimalist designs as well as conceptual works. She continued to show work regularly, and Berg taught color theory at Parsons School of Design for over 25 years. Berg was a member of the American Abstract Artists group (AAA).
